Me and my "B" man (Willie)
Dong Ha radio 4 SP/4's in the army living with the airforce at waterboy control. This is at the airman's club on their patio (they accused me of drinking all of this but I know I didn't because I don't like Canada Dry) We took over the airfield when the marines left. I was here in 1969, thru the typhoon then went to Bien Hoa.
Willie hitching a ride
Black teeth from chewing the beetlenut
Kid riding water buffalo (making his sister do the work)
Medevac Hospital at Quang Tri
Target practice on the way to Quang Tri (glad I wasn't there when it happened)
The plane on the left I believe is a Cat Killer out of Phu Bai, they would come out in the morning and patrol the DMZ and come into Dong Ha to refuel and rearm. Then back to Phu Bai at night.
The second from the right is SP/4 Green NCOIC
DONG HA vietnam
