| GRADUATION Graduation day finally arrived. I had made all my jumps, my brass was polished, and my shiny boots and pressed uniform made my look sharp. All I needed now were those silver wings. We were formed up by platoons. After the graduating address, my silver parachute wings were pinned on. I am mighty proud of thise wings. I earned them the hard way and I intend to uphold the traditions of my predicessors. This is my story of how I became one of the proud paratroopers in the United States Army. |
